Vorige maand verklaarde een woordvoerder van het Chinese ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken dat China, om de uitwisseling van personeel tussen China en het buitenland verder te vergemakkelijken, heeft besloten de reikwijdte van unilaterale visumvrije landen uit te breiden naarFrankrijk, Duitsland, Italië, Nederland, SpanjeEnMaleisiëop proefbasis.
Van1 december 2023 tot 30 november 2024Mensen met een gewoon paspoort die naar China komen voor zaken, toerisme, familie en vrienden bezoeken en niet langer dan 15 dagen op doorreis zijn, kunnen China binnenkomen zonder visum.
Dit is een zeer goed beleid voor zakenmensen die vaak naar China komen en toeristen die geïnteresseerd zijn in China. Vooral in het post-epidemische tijdperk worden er steeds meer tentoonstellingen gehouden in China en is het versoepelde visumbeleid handiger voor exposanten en bezoekers.
